‘We set up councils in prisons, giving inmates a voice to improve things’

Positive News highlights that through User Voice, Mark Johnson has led the setting up of Prison Councils in over 25 prisons to facilitate dialogue between prisoners and staff. These Councils, facilitate by ex-offenders, allow prisoners to voice concerns and suggest improvements, fostering rehabilitation and enhancing prisoners’ self-worth.
