UK prisoners ‘traumatised’ by Covid solitary confinement, study says
Following the publication of our report, Coping with Covid, Mark Johnson, highlights that widespread trauma, extended isolation and groundhog day meant COVID-19 isolation was a “mental health timebomb” for prisoners, with the majority being isolated in their cells for 23+ hours a day.
