This report explores the use of the Novel Psychoactive Substance, spice, among young people. One third of young people surveyed used drugs to cope, especially with grief or anger.
However, it found that spice use is actually rare among children and young people with 8% of those surveyed had used spice in the community but 1% used within the secure estate, with cannabis the choice of drug to cope.
