Lived Expert is growing, and this is your chance to help shape the future with us. We’ve been at the vanguard of lived experience for two decades, and now we’re helping organisations define it for themselves.

We’re not offering just another job – we’re inviting someone to join as a partner, to build and lead alongside us. This role isn’t fully defined because we’re open to the right person making it their own. What matters most to us are your values, your passion, and your belief in the power of agency and lived experience to transform lives and the system.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has strong skills in research, policy, and communications – someone who can turn insights into action and engage diverse audiences.
• Can balance strategy with hands-on delivery – comfortable working on the ground to design and deliver projects while also sitting at the table with senior leaders.
• Brings a deep connection to issues in health and justice, whether through experience or conviction.
• Is a social entrepreneur at heart – enterprising, resourceful, and driven to build something impactful.
• Thrives on collaboration and is ready to work closely with our founder, Mark Johnson, an internationally recognised social entrepreneur.

This role is flexible – we’re open to full-time, part-time, or whatever works best for the right person. If you’re values-led, empathetic, and excited to join a small, ambitious team with a global outlook, we want to hear from you.
